Sex toys: fun and easy to use, difficult and annoying to advertise. Unbound has always has difficulty advertising and reaching new audiences on Instagram and Facebook. As an influencer, I partnered with Unbound to help them reach a new audience while flying under Meta’s radar through sex toy-inspired makeup looks.

As a skincare nano-influencer, my audience on @s0ftbabyangel is well-primed to be interested in self-care products such as sex toys, but a jarring shift to sex toy content was still a concern. To mediate the shift, I created sex toy-inspired makeup looks featuring Unbound’s products, showcasing their colours and fun shapes through my makeup.

The collabs resonated deeply with my audience, generating and over $6k in affiliate revenue over the course of three years.
